IPL 2025 Final Match Today, RCB vs PBKS Predicted Playing 11 Today Match, Full Squad: The Indian Premier League (IPL) will have a new champion on Tuesday with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) set to face the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final in Ahmedabad. Neither side has ever managed to win the title. While this is RCB’s fourth final, and first since 2016, it is only the second time that PBKS have reached the title clash. The last time they reached this stage was in 2014. However, their captain Shreyas Iyer is gunning for a second consecutive title, having led Kolkata Knight Riders to the trophy last season.
The final is a replay of Qualifier 1, in which PBKS were dismantled by RCB. PBKS ended up being all out for 101, the joint lowest ever score in an IPL playoff, and RCB went on to chase the target down with 10 overs to spare. However, PBKS responded by flattening the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult in Qualifier 2 and chasing down a 200-plus target with an over to spare. It would be quite a surprise if either side made any changes without being forced to do so by an injury. In that regard, the only uncertainty for PBKS would be whether Yuzvendra Chahal would be fit enough to play. While he had bowled his full quota against MI, bowling coach James Hopes later revealed that the ace spinner had not been upto full fitness during the match. If his niggle forces him to sit out, Harpreet Brar would be a worthy replacement.
